About the Role
We are seeking a Learning Technologist (Learning Environments) to join our team at Swinburne University. In this role, you will collaborate with educators across the university to provide development, enhancement, training, and support for our Higher and Vocational Education learning environments and related services.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating the review of current learning environments, piloting new delivery modes, and evaluating and developing training resources. You will play a crucial role in building staff capabilities in utilizing all aspects of our on-site learning spaces. Additionally, you will provide expert advice and coordination of teaching materials and technologies to enhance face-to-face delivery in alignment with Swinburne's Learning and Teaching strategic goals.
The position will report directly to the Manager of Learning Ecosystems and will involve close collaboration with other staff members in the Education Innovation Exchange. You will engage extensively with academic, VET, and professional staff, as well as manage relationships with external vendors and stakeholders. This role requires considerable judgment, initiative, discretion, innovation, and independence.
