Mooroopna Primary School is close to the main business area of Mooroopna and has a current enrolment of approximately 230 children in 11 classrooms. The school has large well-established grounds and excellent facilities. The majority of students who attend Mooroopna Primary School come from the Mooroopna area, reflecting the township's varied socio-economic backgrounds, with approximately 20% of the students being Koorie.
