If you require reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process please let us know in your application.What are we looking for?Our dynamic and fast paced National Learning and Development Team are now seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Learning and Development Advisor to join the team in Melbourne, where you will be reporting to the National Leadership and Development Manager. The team compromises of an Organisational Development Lead and National Systems Trainer. This role is integral to the overall support of the firm-wide learning activity. We are looking for someone who is willing to take the lead, is fast-paced, solution focussed and not afraid to take risks. The team can be described as strategic, team orientated and deliver the best possible people experience for the Firm. We open to discussions around flexible work, and offer a hybrid work environment. This is a permanent full time opportunity.Key responsibilities in the following areas will include:Learning Management System (LMS)Manage, record and administer all learning activities in the LMS Develop reporting for key stakeholders on learning metrics Update learning content in the LMS to ensure adherence to regulation requirements and business standardsLegal Education Program Develop and launch the annual Legal Education Program Manage the internal stakeholders to create a calendar of events Develop and deliver a communications plan for the Program Allocate continuing professional development units to team members after completion of relevant learning activities Professional & Leadership Programs Assist in the operational delivery of Professional and Leadership Programs including calendar invites, communications, catering, room bookings, CPD allocations, invoicing, monitoring pre and post work completion, liaison with providers and program planning Develop and launch the annual Professional Development Calendar with the guidance of the National Leadership & Development Manager including working with external and internal providers, drafting communications, gathering nominations, allocating CPD units Assist the National Leadership and Development Manager with conducting a business wide Training Needs Analysis to identify enterprise learning opportunities Work closely with the National Leadership and Development Manager to support the development and delivery of all firm Leadership Programs via blended learning methodsProvide instructional design advisory guidance in relation to all firm Professional and Leadership Programs Liaise with relevant training providers to prepare and deliver all Learning Programs Review and negotiate external training proposals when required Provide on-site support for training programs where required Compliance TrainingUpdate all compliance content in the LMS to ensure adherence to regulation requirements and business standardsCreate and assign bi-annual compliance training assignments to all relevant team members via the LMS Participate and provide advice to internal stakeholders on effective delivery of compliance windows Develop resources to support team members in completing the required training Be the first point of contact for any team member enquiries or issues Accredited Specialist ProgramSupport the participation of team members in the Accredited Specialists Program nationally including drafting and delivering relevant communicationsCreate resources and information sessions for participants Lead the work with internal stakeholders to deliver an effective internal learning experience for participants Administer the logistics of study group sessions for participating team members Match participants with mentors to assist in their learning journey Provide any other ad hoc support throughout the Program New Starter Induction Program Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the quarterly New Starter Induction Program including creation of an agenda, sending communications and invites to the sessionsOther Manage all incoming and outgoing communications in the shared Learning inboxUpdate the S+G External Coaching Panel summary bios for internal stakeholders to refer to where required Work with internal stakeholders to support their learning requests and queries Ongoing measurement of impact and effectiveness of various programs and initiatives Support the National Leadership & Development Manager with other projects, initiatives and bespoke training as required Support HR team members with ongoing project work as per the HR strategy Other duties as directed What will you bring?To be the successful candidate for this position, it would be great if you had the following skills and attributes:Previous experience in a Learning role, and with exposure to administering an LMSPost graduate or degree qualifications in HR, Organisational Psychology or Organisational Development would be highly desirableExcellent project management and time management skillsHigh level competency of the Microsoft Office suiteSuperior attention to detailA team focused approach to workExceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)Ability to develop strong working relationships with easeThe ability to modify your approach as and when goalposts change.What next?If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly to Slater + Gordon.
