We are on the lookout for a Learning & Development Advisor (internally known as Talent Development Advisor) to join our amazing People Team. This role offers a unique opportunity for a Learning and Development professional to make a genuine impact by taking the lead in optimising and enhancing the capability and performance of our workforce.
ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
Reporting to the Talent Development Manager, this position plays a pivotal role in the coordination, development and delivery of effective Talent Development programs and organisational development initiatives for UniLodge Group Australia and New Zealand.
The role comes with a high level of autonomy and responsibility and will need to deliver a consistent, accurate and high-quality service. It will be essential to build and maintain strong relationships, partnering with SME's from across the business to deliver on learning solutions and outcomes. Some of your key duties and responsibilities include:
Effectively collaborate with key stakeholders and SMEs to identify and execute learning opportunities Develop fit for purpose programs including facilitation manuals, training materials, learning assessments and other multi-modal resources for delivery Develop and continuously improve e-learning courses and resources to meet industry best practice, compliance needs and legislation requirements Ensure learning and development content is of a high standard and consistent with the UniLodge brand Assist the Talent Development Manager and Chief People Officer to identify learning needs in accordance with the organisation's strategic and operational plans Assist with the management of the LMS with an innovative approach to problem solving and supporting the network Maintaining courses and enrolments in LMS Assist with coaching, mentoring and training the teams to ensure consistent delivery of UniLodge learning programs and the ongoing development of a learning culture Support employees through internal/external programs to ensure they can effectively contribute to UniLodge operations Explore and provide advice on new learning opportunities for UniLodge Undertake project work as directed. Our mandatory requirements include:
Unrestricted work rights in Australia National Police Check (completed within last 3 months) WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles Demonstrated experience in developing engaging learning solutions across multiple delivery channels for a variety of training programs (ie: systems, leadership, onboarding, etc) Ability to manage learning projects end to end Ability to conduct training needs assessments and collaborate with stakeholders Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in the field of learning and development Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Strong attention to detail and the ability to coordinate and manage conflicting priorities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the capacity to liaise with a range of senior stakeholders Proactive problem solver with the capacity to adapt to evolving business needs and drive positive change within the organisation Mandatory software skills:Articulate 360 suite Microsoft SharePoint experience Microsoft 365 suite Graphic design software experience (Canva or Adobe Premiere Pro or similar) Strongly desired software skills:Visio Video design software (Camtasia, Synthesia, Adobe Premiere Pro etc) Snagit WHY UNILODGE GROUP
