About the Role
This newly created role is for a Manufacturing Engineerpassionate about Lean principles to join our growing team inBallarat. You'll be key in driving our ambitious
Leanmanufacturing transformation program , working alongside asmall team to build a world-class production system.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement Lean principles and tools on the shop floor tocontinuously improve processes and increase efficiency.
Identify and solve manufacturing problems using a hands-onapproach with a strong focus on root cause analysis.
Develop and implement new manufacturing processes tosupport increased production volume.
Conduct Kaizens to address specific production challengesand close KPI gaps.
Utilise data analysis and visual management techniques totrack progress and measure success of Lean initiatives.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensuresmooth integration of Lean practices.
You are a great fit if you:
Have an engineering degree (or equivalent) with a strongacademic background.
Possess experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally ina discrete manufacturing environment.
Are passionate about Lean manufacturing and have hands-onexperience implementing Lean principles.
Enjoy a fast-paced environment and thrive on solvingcomplex problems.
Are a strong team player with excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
Have a data-driven approach and can utilize visualmanagement techniques for continuous improvement.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience with robotic automation in manufacturing.
Exposure to manufacturing capital projects involving newprocesses or equipment.
