I am currently seeking a dedicated Leading Hand to support the current Site Manager and ensure the successful execution of this large commercial fitout in Rockhampton.
About the Role: In this key position, you will act as the right-hand person to the Site Manager.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage select trades while maintaining a strong focus on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
You will conduct site walks and inspections, lead inductions, and facilitate toolbox safety talks to foster a culture of safety on-site.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Site Manager with daily operations and project coordination.
Oversee the work of selected trades to ensure quality and compliance.
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
Lead safety inductions and toolbox talks for all site personnel.
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture among team members.
Support the development and mentorship of junior staff.
