Our client is a leading Engineering steel company and is seeking a Leading Hand to join the team based in Maddington.
This role is full-time Monday-Friday, offering up to 55 hours per week. An excellent salary package of $120,000 per annum is on offer for the right candidate.
Leading Hand:
As a Lead Boilermaker, you will be crucial in supporting various divisions within our company. You'll fabricate gold plant processing equipment and structural steel works for projects related to the mining industry. Your work will primarily focus on heavy structural MIG welding fabrication, but you will also need experience in flux core and TIG pipe welding.
Key Responsibilities: Reading and Interpreting Engineering Drawings: You must understand and interpret detailed drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.General Fabrication: You'll be responsible for fabricating fixed plant equipment and working with structural steel components.Following Work Instructions: Adhering to work instructions and procedures is essential for maintaining quality and safety standards.Leading and Supporting Team: Lead and support other welders, providing technical advice and ensuring high-quality work.About You: Trade Qualified: Relevant trade qualifications and at least 5 years of industry experience.Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail are critical for successful fabrication.Long-Term Commitment: Seeking long-term local employment.If you are a qualified boilermaker with experience in MIG & Heavy fabrication or Structural Steel, we'd also like to hear from you!
