Job Title: Leading Hand

Location: Orange NSW 2800

Compensation: Industry leading hourly rates, base hourly rates at $52.08 plus opportunities for overtime that incur additional penalty rates

Work Schedule: 9 Day Fortnight

Project Duration: Long term project contracted through to the first quarter of 2032

Company Overview: UGL Regional Linx operate and maintain the NSW Country Regional Network (CRN).
UGL Regional Linx are currently looking for a Leading Hand to join our Track Team based in Orange, NSW. The Leading Hand performs an integral role within our business as they are responsible for coordinating on site teams to deliver works in accordance with plans, standards and specifications whilst implementing and managing site safety. This role will be working on a 9 day fortnight pattern, with working away from home requirements from time to time.
Your role as a Leading Hand: As a Leading Hand you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of the rail network by managing teams on site to ensure the condition of the track infrastructure is fit for purpose and safe for train operations. Leading Hands are responsible for coordinating work and ensuring the team(s) achieve the daily preventative and corrective maintenance objectives.
