We are on the hunt for a Leading Hand to join our award-winning team in our Brisbane team located at Acacia Ridge.
As a Leading Hand, you will:
Provide active leadership to employees to improve performance. Train and develop others including coaching and mentoring. Plan work to the highest efficiency. Monitor jobs for quality and efficiency, providing guidance and ensuring work orders are correct. Ensure tradespersons have work completed by the agreed date. Provide guidance and expertise when required. Proactively identify job quality and efficiency risks. Report defects and unsatisfactory practices to help promote continuous improvement. Ensure adverse environment impacts are identified and sustainability measures implemented as per Company policies and procedures. Ensure apprentices obtain every opportunity to achieve competencies in an acceptable timeframe via on-the-job training. Why Hastings Deering?
