Leading Hand | Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

Austcorp Executive are partnering with an Australian owned transport and bulk haulage company working closely with the mining industry within WA. This person will be responsible foroverseeing, organizing and managing the maintenance of all company assets.

This person will manage a team of mechanics and trades professionals to ensure maintenance works are completed to the highest industry standards. This person will report to the National Maintenance Manager.

As the Leading Hand your duties will be but not limited to: Prioritize and schedule work to ensure production targets are achieved without compromising on maintenance and equipment integrity Oversee the maintenance management of the companies fleet of vehicles and equipment Manage and update companies electronic maintenance system Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and management of sound employee relations and safety practices Promote a strong safety culture within the organisation A little bit about you: Australian Certified Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification Proven experience managing teams of mechanics and trades professionals Experience with Kenworth and Komtsu Ability to motivate, plan, prioritize and lead the team Whats in it for you?
