Job DescriptionSome of your responsibilities will include: Assist in overseeing and managing all trades on siteOversee the implementation of all site safety and ensure all procedures are monitoredMonitor progress of works against the current construction program and ensure all trades are coordinating with each otherManage and coach staff effectively, leading the team in achieving project and personal goalsOversee the quality of trade works to ensure the required standard is achieved in all casesSchedule and coordinate other site staff (e.g.
admin) with priority issuesIssue site instructions and other correspondence as required to trade contractors and consultantsReport to the Site Manager on a regular basis and advise of any current or potential issuesDesired Skills and ExperienceTo be considered: Trade or tertiary qualification in Building, Construction or EngineeringMinimum 2 years' experience in a similar roleHigh level ability to read and interpret drawingsWell-developed planning skills including industry knowledgeStrong leadership and management skillsKnowledge of the work of construction trades and ability to assess quality of workmanshipTotal is a Great Place to Work Total is officially recognised by our employees as a Great Place to Work.
