Role Overview:We are currently seeking an experienced, dedicated Leading Hand / Site Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on carpentry work while also possessing the leadership skills to supervise and ensure the smooth running of our job sites across South Australia.
Key Responsibilities:

Directly oversee and participate in various carpentry tasks.
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications to accurately guide your team.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to ensure timely availability of materials and a seamless workflow on projects.
Maintain a high level of site safety and performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Trade qualification in carpentry, or in building and construction management.
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
Excellent organisational, time-management, and communication skills.
Strong ability to develop and implement effective work programs.
Current Driver's Licence.
High attention to detail and a robust work ethic.

Personal Attributes:

Ability to liaise effectively and negotiate with clients and other tradespeople.
Capable of following detailed instructions but also adept at problem-solving independently.
