LMS Energy is Australia's largest emissions reducer and the national leader in biogas-to-energy and solar on landfill. LMS requires the services of a full-time or part-time Leading Hand - Biogas to be based in Brisbane, QLD.
As part of our team, you will collaborate with the Manager - Biogas where your role will primarily involve design, installation and management of biogas extraction systems on landfills across Australia. You'll be working outdoors in a dynamic, hands-on environment, with opportunities to travel to landfill sites both within your state and interstate. Responsibilities: Install and maintain biogas wells following site drilling Erect manifold stations and place and connect flow lines to biogas wells Install and fill J Traps, bed trenches, set-up and use laser levels Undertake butt/electro fusion welding Undertake condensate blockage management Place daily site material orders Perform servicing and repairs of biogas systems Complete monitoring, balancing and troubleshooting of biogas wells Assist with the planning of system repairs, biogas field evaluation reports and investigation works Carry out biogas system repair works and minor installation works Undertake weekly data analysis on operational pump state and pump servicing schedules Undertake fault finding issues with the air and leachate system Assist with setting-up of manifold stations, placing and connecting flow lines to biogas wells, bedding of trenches, set-up and use of levels, butt/electro fusion welding and condensate blockage management Act as a leader amongst the crew, encouraging and directing others to achieve project goals as required Support the national/international Biogas Group and assist the Operations Group Requirements: Industry experience to lead and support the onsite teams Knowledge and understanding of Construction Principles A team player, great work ethic, shows initiative, resilient and committed with strong communication skills Australian Drivers Licence Fitness for work to perform the job role safely and competently Upholds LMS' company values and culture Please email applications to [email protected], quoting job reference BIOG-******** .
