The Role
We are currently seeking a Regional Leadership & Learning Manager for a 12-month maternity cover to implement the Leadership & Learning Team's strategy and programs in the AP region.
Key Responsibilities Consult with L&L Partners and other relevant stakeholders to crystallize learning needs and plan L&L programs for their groupsEngage with the Partners, functional leaders and TM colleagues to develop their people, with a focus on pipeline candidatesDesign and present in the classroom, webinars, and milestone/pipeline development programs, in person and virtuallyAlign local office programs to regional and global L&L programs across all levelsProject manage and implement learning programsSelect and liaise with internal and external presentersCollaborate with junior team members and teams located in service centers to: (1) discharge administrative work, (2) ensure attendance and Continuous Professional Development (CPD)records are tracked and are in full compliance with Firm and local offices' requirements and (3) improve on existing processesSupport Executive Coaching arrangements and coaching services for senior lawyers and PartnersWhat we're looking for - Essential Undergraduate qualification or progress towards a qualification in Learning & Development or a related fieldExtensive experience in a similar role in a large corporate or professional services environmentFluent in English (speaking and writing)Strong presentation and facilitation skillsAbility to design programs, initiatives, and materials in consultation with business leaders and subject matter expertsExperience in designing and delivering training topics relating, but not limited, to communication and interpersonal skills, business development and client service skills, leadership and team management skillsGood balance of academic learning design skills and commercial pragmatisms to deliver practical business world solutionsAbility to work collaboratively in a matrix and diverse environmentGrowth mindset in developing self and others on the teamAdaptable to change; "can do" attitudeProficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPointA legal background or L&D experience in the professional services industry (e.g. law firm, accounting firm)People management and supervisory skillsOrganizationally and culturally savvy, studying/working abroad experience is highly desirableCoaching certificateAbout the Firm
