Commencing term 1 2025 About the Role The Leader of Wellbeing will guide the school's wellbeing practices, ensuring that we create a safe and nurturing environment that supports student learning and personal development. In collaboration with the School Leadership Team, the Leader of Wellbeing will lead the implementation of evidence-based strategies and initiatives that enhance students' wellbeing, resilience, and academic success. The role also includes embedding child-safe policies and creating positive and predictable environments for all students, both physically and online.
About You (selection criteria)
We are looking for someone who can meet the following selection criteria:
Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and present information to staff and families, and foster open and respectful dialogue within the school community.Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing wellbeing programs and strategies that promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment.Experience in managing student behaviour, attendance, and academic care, with a strong focus on using data and evidence-based practices to improve student outcomes.Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and external agencies to create strong partnerships that support student wellbeing and academic success.Appropriate tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.
