Executive Leadership Role remunerated equivalent to Assistant Principal level 5 point co-ordinator  Permanent, full-time role commencing in Term 4, 2024 in preparation for 2025 (by negotiation)  Leader of Research, Growth and Development (K-12) This is a new role based on growth of the school The School  Established in 2017 with just 86 students spanning Kindergarten to Year 6, St Luke's at Marsden Park has a reputation for being a pioneering educational community within Catholic Schools, Parramatta Diocese (CSPD).
As a 'next generation Catholic Learning Community,' we are at the forefront of creating the 'new normal' for learning from preschool through post-school.
Our environment is defined by a flexible curriculum that nurtures faith-filled, curious children, empowering them to become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers in an ever-changing world.
By 2024, St Luke's has experienced remarkable growth, now enrolling over 1,800 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
In addition, our long day center accommodates 59 children daily, and our specialized high-needs center, Arrunga, supports 40 students with moderate intellectual disabilities.
The school is broken into three interconnected schools each with its own identity and purpose, but with a connection to the St Luke's College Community.
The learning pathway is documented in the below image:  This learning pathway seamlessly connects the Schools of Learning—Foundations, Leadership, and Entrepreneurs—through a curriculum initially rooted in literacy and numeracy building towards independence and autonomy.
By explicitly teaching inquiry, alongside essential social and enterprise skills, we prepare students for a rapidly changing world.
These critical skills are embodied in our core pillars: witnessing in the way of Christ, managing self, relating to others, inquiring, thinking, and creating.
Throughout their journey at St Luke's, students also experience ongoing faith formation, which is intricately woven into every aspect of their education.
Role Outline  St Luke's Catholic College is seeking a dynamic and passionate professional to join our team as the Leader of Research, Growth, and Development, with a flexible start date in December 2024 or January 2025.
This senior leadership position, as part of the College Executive Team, spans our preschool to post-school setting and requires an experienced, qualified professional with a proven track record in learning based  educational leadership.
Directed by the Principal, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with the principal, heads of school, assistant principals, and other key staff members to drive continuous improvement in focus areas across the school.
This will involve leveraging data analysis, research, ideation, and effective change management to enable and advance the College's vision to nurture faith filled, curious children to become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers for a changing world.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues, identify root causes, and develop innovative, effective solutions which are monitored and evaluated.
They must be relational, highly organized, able to ideate and create actionable plans, and have the strategic mindset to implement these solutions while considering the broader impact across the school.
This role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as the candidate will be responsible for coaching and guiding other coaches, ensuring consistent and effective implementation of strategies.
Adaptability, attention to detail, and a reflective approach to evaluate the success of initiatives and make necessary adjustments are key characteristics of someone suited for this position.
Importantly, the candidate should foster collaboration and continuous improvement within the school community, motivating others to achieve excellence in execution.

Qualifications and accreditations: Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance Eligibility to teach in NSW according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete) Statement of Service  Interested?
