Position Highlights The Leader of Administration is a promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however, your classroom teaching position (1FTE) will be full-time, and permanent.
Your promotional role will entail 0.4FTE release time and will be to model classroom practitioner excellence, improve learning outcomes and bring about change in the instruction of teachers 7-12.
The Leader of Administration is an Executive position, responsible for the organisation and management of the College to support excellence in teaching and learning.
This role focuses on managing the development, implementation and monitoring of the College's administration to support the faith life, pastoral and curriculum needs of the school.
As a delegate of the Principal, the Leader of Administration oversees the day to day organisation of the school, liaising with the Assistant Principal to ensure compliance and best practice for all administration procedures at the College.
As a member of the Executive, the Leader of Administration plays a vital role in living the Gospel values, leading excellence in teaching and learning and supporting the pastoral needs of the staff, students and community.
The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.
This full-time, temporary role is scheduled to commence on Friday, 31 January 2025.

Base salary ranges from $85,000 to $122,100, plus $28,476 Coordinator allowence.
Salary calculated on averaged conditions.

About You As a Leader of Administration - Coordinator 3 , you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

The Leader of Administration is required to: nurture a College Culture that is characterised by high performance, continuous improvement, data-informed decision making and a commitment to best practice implement and develop structures and processes that contribute to the school's management in line with the system and school policies collaborate as a member of the Timetable Committee to construct the College timetable to ensure compliance and support the teaching and learning needs of the College overseeing casual teachers and practicum students concerning curriculum requirements and responsibilities, liaising directly with Universities, SCS and Curriculum Leaders liaise with the Leader of Pedagogy and Curriculum Coordinator to construct timely and effective assessment schedules and examination timetables that are communicated to all staff, students and parents overseeing the implementation of key administrative College programs inducting casual teachers to ensure they maintain the learning and pastoral standards of the College oversee staff absences and manage the daily administration of the College support the Accreditation of staff, particularly long term casual staff at the College.
Knowledge and Experience: demonstrated practice of the Higher Levels of Accreditation (Highly Accomplished or Lead) set out in the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers a practising Catholic with demonstrated evidence of ongoing commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church and engagement in the life of a Catholic faith community evidence of strong collaborative leadership, with the ability to work as part of a dynamic leadership team, leading and monitoring initiatives and applying evaluative thinking to drive continuous improvement demonstrated ability to lead, model and implement best practice in differentiated and personalised learning to meet the needs of all learners ability to provide differentiated, high-impact professional learning that ensures the continual development and growth of teacher expertise models self-motivated, life-long learning and the ability to seek feedback and reflect on personal effectiveness strategically leads with the ability to initiate change ensures detail and accuracy as key operating principles capacity to identify workflow priorities and to allocate resources to ensure teaching and learning is protected and supported successful teaching experience with the capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and student welfare, leading and designing quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams well developed communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning willingness to respect, support and uphold the mission, ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of Sydney Catholic Schools.
You will have attained: a tertiary qualification in Education eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
