Job Summary
Seeking a Lead Systems Controls Engineer to join our dynamic robotics team to assist with delivering be-spoke Kawasaki robot and Doosan collaborative robot system. The role will entail system scoping and design, networking, programming of PLC's, robots and safety devices, implementation, commissioning and support services across a range of industries.
Role Responsibilities
Opportunity to join the Diverseco robotics team as 'lead systems controls engineer'
The Diverseco robotics team is a diverse, high performing team of trade, engineering and technical sales staff
Must have a background in either engineering or electrical trade
Diverseco is the exclusive distributor, systems integrator and support agent for 2 of the world's leading robots brands, Kawasaki and Doosan
To be based out of our Ballarat or Rowville facility (flexibility between the two sites required)
The role will involve system design, integration, delivery and commissioning of industrial and collaborative robot systems for multiple industries (metal manufacturing / mining / food and beverage / freight and logistics)
You must have:
PLC programming
HMI / SCADA programming
Electrical system design and selection
System networking and integration
Minimum 5 years on the job experience
Either engineering degree or electrical trade background
Exposure to industrial / collaborative robotics and systems
Mechanical aptitude (Desirable)
