* $158,839 per annum + superannuation * Full time, Ongoing * Geelong location (hybrid working model – 3 days in office) The Lead Solution Architect is a key leadership position in the WorkSafe Technology division and operates at a senior level, to influence and ensure technology investment is optimised.
Key accountabilities: Lead and mentor domain/project architects and technical specialists, ensuring adherence to architectural principles, best practices, and standards, as well as the creation and maintenance of architecture documentation including high level designs, technical specification and integration diagrams Review and approve technical designs to ensure they meet quality standards, security requirements and business objectives.
Identify potential risks or challenges and proactively develop mitigation strategies as required Provide guidance on technical challenges and decision-making, ensuring that design choices support both current needs and future scalability Define and implement architectural governance processes to ensure consistency and alignment across all solutions and ensure solutions are designed with the consideration of security, compliance and regulatory requirements.
Lead efforts to balance quality, time, and cost constraints, ensuring that the chosen solutions are both effective and cost-efficient and recommend and implement strategies for optimizing resources and operational costs while maintaining solution quality and performance.
About you You have deep knowledge of Salesforce platforms and its capabilities including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Field Service, Public Sector Solutions and Marketing Cloud.
You have a passion for Program Architecture with specific demonstrable experience in data and applications and integration architectures.
Your proven mentorship and guidance to other solution and technical architects highlights your excellent team management skills and ability to foster collaboration within cross-functional teams.
Further, you will also possess: Strong proficiency in Salesforce architecture, including designing scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that leverage Salesforce best practices Experience in designing and deploying Salesforce applications, managing customization, automation (e.g., workflows, Process Builder, Flows), and building declarative solutions using Salesforce's low-code features Experience in assessing various platforms objectively and perform cost-benefit analysis to identify the right fit to support the business capability Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives and business stakeholders Exceptional proven stakeholder management and interpersonal skills including coaching, facilitation, influencing, negotiation and liaison skills, and the ability to adapt these to a diverse range of stakeholders and contexts.
