Lycopodium is currently recruiting for Lead/Senior Mechanical Engineers to join our growing team in Perth.
Reporting to the Group Manager - Engineering, the Lead/Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, professional and compliant design deliverables using Company approved systems and procedures.
The tasks you'll perform Providing proficient and accurate design input for the production of mechanical drawings;Conducting timely reviews of Project mechanical drawings to achieve full compliance with design intent;Performing accurate engineering design and calculations in accordance with Project, Client and regulatory standards;Interpreting engineering drawings, documents, specifications and scopes;Identifying scope variations and prepare relevant documentation accordingly;Ensuring correctly specified equipment is sourced to meet project deliverables.The expertise you'll bring Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or the equivalentMinimum 8 year's post graduate experience in Mineral Processing in a mechanical capacity desiredAbility to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including Clients, vendors and co-workersSolid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and exceptional knowledge across a broad range of disciplinesProven time management and organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationThe benefits we'll provide Lycopodium has a strong company culture focused on career progression and technical skill development.
