International Fashion Brand Finance Team - FP&A Analyst We are seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to join our growing Finance Team in Australia and overseas.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in improving the efficiency of operations by analysing historical data and modelling future expectations. They will support commercial financial planning and analysis, delivering insights and actionable recommendations based on trends and comparisons.
The FP&A Analyst will establish and monitor financial reporting KPIs, providing consistent updates to stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.
Assist with preparation of monthly management reporting, including P&L variance analysis, board reporting pack and monthly reporting to budget holders. Assist in the creation of the annual budget, reforecasting processes, and long-term financial planning to align with company objectives. Maintain robust financial models with strong audit trails to create budgets and reforecasts. Analyse historical data to identify trends and apply insights to future projections. Support identification of key business drivers to establish relevant KPIs, ensuring these are reported on a weekly and monthly basis to monitor performance. Manage and validate data to ensure its accuracy, completeness, and reliability for financial planning and analysis. Analyse the impact of different scenarios on profitability and cash flow, highlighting opportunities to maximise profitability. Provide actionable insights to managers to support informed business decisions. Requirements: A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong skills in PowerPoint. Solid understanding of accounting principles, including P&L and balance sheet concepts, as well as three-way financial modelling. Ability to translate data into actionable insights rather than simply reporting figures. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a strong grasp of data and systems.
