Wood is recruiting a Lead Planner to join our Operations team in Perth.This is a long-term staff position for someone looking to join an experienced team in Project Controls in Oil & Gas and Brownfield projects.Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region's most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.Join us in the heart of Perth's CBD with free 24/7 access to an exclusive on-site gym, superb end of trip facilities, coffee machines serving on demand and plenty of spaces to get creative.In addition, you will have access to remote and flexible working options, purchased annual leave and employee discount programs.At Wood, we look for innovative ideas and an agile approach to deliver the best possible outcomes and offer you an opportunity to progress and thrive by working collectively and making an active contribution.Please note you must be an Australian citizen or currently hold Permanent Residency (PR) and able to work lawfully in Australia.Ideally, you will have a minimum of 10 + years' experience as a Planner working in an Engineering environment.In addition, ISCED level 6 (Bachelors) Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through relevant vocational training and/or industry experience).You will have:Advanced knowledge of Primavera and other scheduling software and related tools and techniques including Logic and CPM analysis, resource loading and levellingAdvanced understanding of WBS and project reporting capabilitiesAdvanced ability to develop level 3 schedules and plansExcellent understanding of earned value application, schedule variance analyses/trending and what-if scenariosAdvanced understanding of project management principles and techniquesprior experience in a senior planning roleWhat will set you apart will be your exceptional stakeholder management skills (internal & external) and relevant experience in an EPCM / Engineering environment in the Oil & Gas and energy sector in Australia.It takes an inclusive and diverse global community of inquisitive minds to unlock solutions to tomorrows most critical challenges.Wood encourages Women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.If you are a Lead Planner ready for your next challenge, we are keen to hear from you today!Shortlisting will commence immediately.undefined
