Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement Plans: Lead the creation of comprehensive operations readiness plans and procedures to ensure smooth transitions from project phases to operational status. Project Coordination: Work closely with project teams to integrate operational requirements into project planning and execution. Risk Management: Lead the conducting of thorough risk assessments, identify potential issues, and develop effective mitigation strategies to ensure safe and efficient operations. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards. Technical Support: Lead teams in providing expert technical support during feed, commissioning, and start-up phases, troubleshooting issues and ensuring systems are fully operational. Training and Mentorship: Assist in developing and delivering training programs for operations personnel, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle operational challenges. Performance Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving operational performance and implement best practices. Documentation: Ensure detailed records of operations readiness activities, including plans, procedures, risk assessments, and training materials are maintained. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates on readiness status and addressing any concerns. Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to continuously improve operations readiness processes, incorporating lessons learned and industry advancements. Line Management: Lead a team of Operations Readiness Engineers and supplementary service engineers in delivering operations readiness scopes. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations readiness within the Energy sector. Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proficiency in relevant software and tools. Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
