Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our Perth team.
About the role Working across the full lifecycle of projects from scoping studies through to execution of EPC and EPCMAbility to deliver mechanical technical solutions in accordance with project scope, time-frames and best practice standardsPrepare technical reports related to the designDevelop a thorough understanding of the project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and scheduleDevelop the mechanical work plan for inclusion in to the project specific execution planBe a key contributor to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studiesManage and review the Engineering Work Packages (EWP) associated with all deliverables and time-based functions to ensure that budgets and schedules are being met, and taking corrective action if necessaryReview and approve mechanical technical deliverables (specifications, datasheets, drawings, etc.)Assist in the preparation and development of project specific proceduresAbout you Tertiary qualification in Mechanical EngineeringExtensive experience in the detailed design of mineral processing plantsProven success in an EPCM environmentExtremely well-developed written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated leadership and client liaison skillsStrong deliverable focus and ability to plan the workExcellent understanding and belief in safety principles, standards and legislationPrior experience with copper, gold, nickel or base metals is highly advantageousExperience of leading the mechanical discipline on a project.Why Ausenco?
