About you Due to ongoing growth we are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer or a Senior Mechanical Engineer (ready to step into a Lead level role) with a wealth of experience, predominantly in the Petrochemical and Oil and Gas industries. The ideal candidate will have the ability to independently execute projects as well as lead and oversee the development of a growing team of people.
As well as being highly experienced in technical mechanical engineering, you will also have highly developed skills in pressure vessel, tank and piping design and be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, on small/medium size brownfield projects.
About the role We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer, capable of working with a close-knit team of engineers, designers and project engineers to deliver projects to Verbrec's and clients' standards. As a professional engineer you will offer:
Minimum 12 years' experience in the industryDiverse range of mechanical engineering skills, including pressure equipment, rotating equipment or tanksExperience to carry out mechanical engineering design and documentation from initiation through to construction stageExperience working in oil and gas facilities or similar heavy or manufacturing industriesExperience using PV Elite, AutoPIPE or other design programsExperience generating engineering estimates and quotationsAbility to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlinesDegree or equivalent experience/qualification is mandatoryIf you are a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for delivering engineering excellence and want to work in a collaborative team environment with varied clients and projects, apply today.
