About the roleYou will be responsible for leading development, design and implementation of new or modified software products or ongoing business projects, as well as providing application support as required. You will also be involved in liaising with Business Analysts, Project Managers and Development Managers to ensure software projects meet requirements and are delivered within the agreed timeframe.
What you'll doLead, manage and coach a team of developersAct as Technical Lead and Subject Matter Expert to ensure solutions delivered are in line with business and technical requirementsProviding mentoring and leadership in development practices and principlesResearch, design, develop and maintain web-based solutions using various technologies – React, .net (core and framework), SQLDevelop, code and document back-end and integration layer modules using .net and .net coreExtensive experience in Web API, layered architecture, MVC and ASP.NET and .net coreIntegrate data storage solutions which may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.Identify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing modificationsDocument the application specifications and translate technical requirements into application codeEnforce the application of agile and prototype based SDLC for systems developmentSound understanding in working with agile development methodologyLead code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to architectural specificationsWork with Graphic Designers to translate prototypes into good website designConduct Unit testing and work with Testers to address issuesProvide guidance to junior developers in relation to architecture, design and the use of best practicesWork closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts, and selected vendorsAbout you8-10 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise level SaaS applicationsStrong web development skills in React, C#, ASP.Net, .net CoreUnderstanding of API Security Best PracticesWeb design capabilities using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQueryExperience in SQL Server or other relational databases3+ years' experience with ReactA strong full stack development background with enterprise level experienceThe capacity to design and create usable interfaces encompassing both SaaS and mobile devices with responsive design techniquesExperience with Git, BitBucket, NPM and CI/CD using JenkinsHave previously implemented CI / CD pipelinesExperience in Mulesoft - AdvantageousCulture & BenefitsStandards Australia is proud to have been awarded the prestigious Employer of Choice Award for two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024!
