With several Flavorite sites located across Victoria, this role is based at our Tatura location which currently employs over 350 employees.
We are currently seeking a Lead Forklift Operator in a full-time capacity, to join our busy, growing, and collaborative team.
Reporting directly to the Logistics Supervisor, this role is responsible for performing a variety of core functions to support the Logistics Supervisor with the delivery of goods and materials to ensure the quality and timeliness of customer orders meet expectations.
This role is a Wednesday to Saturday shift so the successful candidate will be able to enjoy a 3-day weekend, every week! The work life balance this role offers is almost unheard of!
Key Accountabilities: Operate forklift in a fast-paced packing facility Ensure working area and surrounding areas are kept free of rubbish and trip hazards Prioritise daily tasks in accordance with logistics requirements Organise all paperwork required for loads ensuring the highest level of accuracy Liaise with other departments to ensure daily loads are met Perform higher duties in the absence of the Logistics Supervisor Assist the Logistics Supervisor with the orientation, training and development of new logistics team members Monitor the performance of current team members and provide retraining as required Assisting in other departments including packing, as needed to support the team The successful candidate will have: Have a current Forklift Licence Sound computer skills High attention to detail including accurate entry of data Well-developed written and verbal communication skills High level of organisational and time management skills Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not required This role will suit someone who is passionate about being successful and growing within the business.
