Role initially will be Perth office based, for 2025, main tasks:
Review Electrical Engineering deliverables HV Reticulation tie in ABB Switchgear SAT review and attendance Preparing Electrical commissioning Procedures Review of Testing documentation Review vendor supply documentation Some site visit as required to review electrical preparedness for NPI contractor HAZOP Engineering & Constructability Review inputs Input Electrical certification requirements Position specific responsibilities and requirements: Major Capital Project Experience, Iron Ore, Oil & Gas or Similar with multi-Contractors and sub Contractors interface experience. Authorized Electrical Person experience. Assist Commissioning Discipline Lead with review of Vendor commissioning procedures and test documentation. Advise on Vendor proposals and extent of commissioning scope through all commissioning stages. Attend Vendor / Supplier coordination FAT / SAT, attend lead meetings as required. Work pack development and close out - assemble all required documentation, assist with development of basis of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS). Develop technical / QA documentation as required to fulfill commissioning activities. Resolve discipline / equipment related site / engineering queries, prepare, and submit Request for Information (RFI) documents to clarify design intent or resolve construction and commissioning issues. Manage Punch list process for discipline specific punch items - (Raise PL items, track and close out). Coordinate Construction Verification Completion, handover, Commissioning activities testing oversight. Input into Commissioning Readiness process. Technical Review of Systems & Sub Systems, and Exposure to MCPLUS or CCMS required. Position required competencies and skills: Electrical or IC engineer with field commissioning / completions experience. Strong technical understanding of infrastructure to be installed. Ability to problem solve and manage multi-discipline interfaces. 10 years experience in site execution of large scale resource projects as Contractor or Owners Team / EPCM.
