You will lead the project end-to-end, using cutting-edge open-source tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry, while collaborating with Fortescue's team. Your expertise in instrumentation, monitoring, and performance optimisation will be crucial to the success of this project. Excellent communication and the ability to train teams on technical concepts will ensure a smooth transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the project, managing all aspects from planning to delivery.
Architect and implement a scalable and secure AWS environment, integrating observability tools.
Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
Set up monitoring and alerting using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Ensure high standards of cloud security, applying robust practices to protect data and logs.
Conduct load and functional testing to optimise performance.
Provide documentation and hands-on training for Fortescue's teams.
