Join our supportive team committed to enhancing the oral health of government school students. We're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team of Lead Regional OHTs and DAs, playing a vital role in the success of Smile Squad, our free school dental program.
Joining us means access to professional development and personalised support from our team of Directors, Oral Health Advisors, and clinical leaders. Reporting to the DHSV Smile Squad Regional Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in helping us deliver our Smile Squad school dental initiative across Victoria.

Some duties to expect: Collaborate with community dental agencies to enhance the efficiency of their clinical teamsBe a subject matter expert, streamline processes, and make recommendations for optimal workflowTravel to various schools and community dental agencies during work hours, utilising the Smile Squad vehicle for transportationA bit about you: Holds a Victorian driver's license and Working With Children CheckClinically adept in evidence-based practice, particularly with childrenDemonstrates outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsHolds or possesses certificate III in dental assistingCert IV in Oral Health Education with Fluoride Varnish qualification (highly advantageous)Why work at DHSV?
