Lead Data Scientist Want to help disrupt the electricity utility sector by solving data problems?
We are working with a VC-backed, high-growth SaaS company.
Their aim is to re-imagine energy, transforming access through their platform—a platform that helps operators save time, improve safety and power quality, as well as lower costs for consumers!
We are keen to talk to experienced Data Scientists who can manage the full data process, develop new algorithms, and work on new techniques to understand large volumes of data.
You will be expected to derive insights and analytics from this data, improve and optimize existing data pipelines, and assist with MLOps processes.
As a Lead, you will be technically proficient and have experience mentoring, coaching, and leading teams.
This role is tech-heavy, with 25% of your time dedicated to managing 3 team members—2 Data Scientists and an ML Engineer.
Experience with time-series analysis/forecasting and clustering is critical, as this will be a key part of your responsibilities.
Essential qualifications include AWS Specialist experience, familiarity with Databricks, DBT/Dagster, and proficiency in SQL and Python.
Experience in agile, scale-up environments, especially those who have been through the pre-Series C stage, is highly desirable.
