The analyst will provide stock recommendations based on thorough analysis, financial models and company/industry insights. The analyst must be able to present & market effectively, externally to fund managers and clients and, internally to institutional sales and sales traders.KEY ACTIVITIESProvide proactive and differentiated research on the small cap sectorDevelop financial models & valuation databases for all stocks under primary coverageRespond to market news, earnings releases, corporate developments and other market-moving information when necessary and in a proactive mannerDevelop and maintain key client relationshipsActively engage with clients and the relevant sales team members to communicate ideas to ensure maximum exposure/return from the time invested in producing research reportsMaintain sound working relationships with corporates, clients and government/industry organisationsTEAMWORKAnalysts should view their role as an integral part of the team's success. Effective teamwork contribution; actively generate ideas for the team's development; communicate issues that require action; support each other and ask for help when needed.KEY COMPETENCIES/SKILLS/EXPERIENCEBachelor degree or above in business related discipline, preferably with finance and/or accounting major3-10 years' experience as a research associate/analyst.
