As a Lead Engineer, you'll bring significant software and data engineering experience and apply best practices as you develop data pipelines, organise data for downstream consumption and solve a varied range of technical problems. You will also play a critical role with our operational and business stakeholders.
You'll have excellent Python knowledge to write, review and test code as well as excellent solution architecture, design, and engineering leadership skills.

Previous experience supporting or leading a team of developersA track record of project ownership, successful delivery and working with stakeholdersExcellent hands-on coding ability in Python and able to review Python codeA broad knowledge of technical solutions, design patterns, and code for medium/complex applications deployed in a clustered environmentExperience with Docker, Kubernetes and AWSStrong experience with SQL, authoring complex queries and Data Definition Language (DDL)Experience with Linux/UnixWorking knowledge of API-based integration for modern systemsExperience querying big data, using tools like, Redshift, Hive, Spark, Presto etcExperience with Data Pipelines Orchestration tools like Airflow or Argo WorkflowsExperience with Source control in Bitbucket or similarExposure to security concepts and best practices.
