Boutique Care Facility Must have Minimum 3 years experience Permanent Part Time / Full time / Casual Positions Small Family Owned and Operated Facility We are currently seeking an experienced Chef or qualified Lead Cook to join our small yet beautiful boutique facility. Located in Geelong, this small residence is beautifully maintained to the highest standard. The role is 100% hands on in all aspects of running the kitchen, you will have the responsibility of overseeing traditional compliance activities including food safety, OHS, and quality. As well as high quality food to our residents, this role will also encompass: Dining/room service Management of kitchen Ordering and stock control Management of food costing Resident dietary management Support and guide the team in delivering high end food to our residents Oversee traditional compliance activities including food safety, OHS, and quality Provide guidance to the kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth operation You will be a fully qualified Cook or a very experienced cook with experience in a commercial catering, aged care or function environment.The experience required to deliver the highest standards of quality, should be combined with;Job Type: Part-time
Kitchen and food cost management abilities Strong time management and effective interpersonal skills Clear understanding of special dietary needs and current food handling regulations (HACCP) team to continually improve the catering experience in our facility. Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery and/or Certificate in Food Handling (Food Safety and Hygiene) are preferred. A current police check will be carried out if you are successful in the interview process. Required experience:
