Hours: Monday - Friday - 40 hours.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client's workshop in Preston. Our client specialises in fleet vehicles including transits, sprinters, and various other LCVs. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vans.
Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issuesPerform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspectionsUse diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issuesKeep accurate records of all work performed and parts usedCommunicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendationsMaintain a clean and organized work areaKeep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniquesVehicle Technician Requirements:NVQ Level 3 equivalent or higherAt least 1 year of experience as a vehicle technicianAbility to use diagnostic tools and softwareStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsValid driver's licenseWe offer a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for growth and advancement.
