About the role Candidates will be interested in exploring a hybrid of contracts administration, contracts management and legal advisory services for clients with projects based in WA, across Australia and overseas.
Supported by leading industry technicians skilled across a range of disciplines, this hybrid legal and contracts administration/management role will see you advise and work across construction, process plant and NPI projects, involving tasks such as:
construction contract reviews and risk analysispreparing, drafting and negotiating contracts e.g. construction contracts, supply agreements, plant hire agreements, services terms and conditionsadministering contracts and managing contractor relationships (various contract delivery modes)claims analysis and claims preparation during construction phase, related to (for example) variations or extensions of timeassisting principals, producers and contractors with general contract administration, contractual and commercial adviceassisting with pre-contractual processes e.g. procurement and tenderingWhat will you bring to Neuplan? You will be tertiary qualified and admitted to legal practise in WA. Lawyers with relevant construction or mining industry experience, or growing contracts administration/procurement experience, will be well regarded.
This role will suit an experienced post-admission practitioner, looking to maintain their legal skills and certification but work in an environment akin to an in-house legal and contracts / commercial team, specialising in mining, construction, and engineering. You will use your legal knowledge to develop contract administration and management skills - the aim being to develop into a capable Contracts Manager and specialist Lawyer.
Preferred candidates will have:
