Maurice Blackburn, experience you can count on.About the roleJoin our Sunshine office as a Lawyer (12 month FTC) in the Road Injuries team. With a diverse client base, the work is challenging and rewarding with excellent career development opportunities. In joining the team, you will become part of our experienced group of specialised Lawyers who are passionate about extending justice to everyone who needs it. A key focus of this role will be to provide a seamless client experience supporting our clients to get favourable outcomes.You will have sound legal technical skills and be experienced in managing your own file load, with demonstrated decision making and analytical skills.Key Responsibilities:Meeting with clients, and taking instructionsReview and analysis of recordsDrafting written communications to clientsBriefing medical experts and allied health professionalsAttending court for procedural hearingsBriefing and liaising with barristersThe experience we are looking forWe are looking for someone with a strong client service focus, personable approach, and commitment to social justice to join our Sunshine team as a Junior Lawyer. You will ideally have recently completed your Practical Legal Training; however, if you have a strong desire to forge a career within this space, we want to hear from you.
