Work type: full-time Location: Salisbury SA 5108 Categories: Legal Professional Practice area: Estates, Family, Civil and Commercial Practice About the Role We are seeking an experienced lawyer with 2+ years of experience in Family Law and Estates Law (both planning and administration) to join our friendly Salisbury office. An additional background with commercial transactions, family law, and attending to civil disputes would also be advantageous. You will have sound legal knowledge and will be experienced in managing your own file load with demonstrated decision-making and analytical skills. You will also have excellent communication skills. If you have had experience training and supervising a team member, then that will add to the competitiveness of your application. Job Description Drafting, reviewing, and updating wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents; Providing legal advice to clients on matters related to estate administration and distribution; Handling probate applications and navigating the probate process; Advising clients on strategies for minimising estate taxes and ensuring efficient wealth transfer; Resolving disputes and litigation related to wills and estates, when necessary; Collaborating with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans; Liase with other support professionals as necessary; Staying informed about changes in legislation and case law affecting Wills & Estates in SA. The Successful Applicant Minimum 2+ years experience in PQE in Wills and Estates. Implement a high level of attention to detail with clients and pride yourself on the quality of service. Strong inter-personal skills. Excellent ability to draft legal documents and correspondence in clear and concise language. Able to take direction from senior managers and lawyers. Be an experienced litigator looking to take your career to the next level. Who is comfortable presenting in court and eager to grow their skills as an advocate.
