We offer a unique workplace culture andexcellent opportunities to further your personal and professionaldevelopment.About the roleWe are pleased to offer an opportunity to join our CairnsDispute Resolution Team.Our Senior Associate acts for a diverse client base includingthose in the construction and insolvency sectors. Our constructionwork includes acting for principals, builders, contractors,consultants, subcontractors and suppliers with a focus onresolution of disputes; we are also comfortable with advising onprocurement and contract negotiation. Our insolvency work includesacting for liquidators and trustees including recovery proceedings,advice work and public examinations.The role will primarily entail carriage of dispute filescommensurate with experience with a focus in the residentialconstruction sector under the supervision of our Senior Associate.We pride ourselves on being effective advocates for our clients andintend that the successful application will develop their courtadvocacy and alternative dispute resolution skills with the supportof our Senior Associate, Paralegal and Partners.The role is ideally aimed at a lawyer with two yearspost-admission experience although all experience levels areencouraged to apply.About youTo be successful in this role, you will be an admitted lawyerwith a desire to develop construction and/or insolvency experiencein a growing team.
