About Legal Aid QueenslandAre you an experienced family lawyer? In this role you will utilise your legal expertise to support vulnerable and disadvantaged Queenslanders. You will represent the interests of legally aided clients in family law and related matters.What you will do Representing clients including preparing matters, instructing counsel and personally appearing as an advocate in family law and related mattersProvide duty lawyer services and legal information advice to clients and the publicIf a member of the Independent Children's Lawyer and Separate Representatives panels, you may act in the child's best interestHelp the Principal Lawyer to develop the skills, train and guide staff About you: The successful candidate will have Experience in the conduct of family law, domestic and family violence and child protectionProven ability to deal with clients with complex needs in stressful situationsAbility to present in a clear, concise and articulate manner What we can offer you 36.25 hrs per week (full time hours)12.75% employer super contributionsGenerous salary packaging availableStudy leave for approved work-related courses.
