Sydney. YOUR NEW EMPLOYER Our client is a prominent multi-disciplinary construction/property development company with close to 20 years of success.
YOUR NEW ROLE/CAREER As a key part of the IN-LEGAL team , you will be mentored 1:1 by a stand-out SENIOR LEGAL COUNSEL.
You will manage your own files and assist the senior legal counsel with complex/larger cases, engaging in: Construction law - front-end (advisory/transactions); Property law (leases, put/call options, property development, and due diligence advice); Commercial transactions/contract drafting and negotiation; Litigation/dispute resolution (construction, consumer, planning/local government, commercial/contractual disputes) in Federal, State Courts, Land & Environment Court, and NCAT; Providing advice on regulatory/compliance issues relating to construction, corporate governance, insurance, health and safety, and HR/employment issues.

WHO YOU ARE We are interested in hearing from you if you: Are an admitted lawyer (minimum 2 years' post-admission); Have a minimum of 2+ years experience in construction law AND property law (essential), preferably with additional experience in 1 or more of: 1) commercial law; 2) litigation (commercial/construction) either IN-HOUSE or in PRIVATE PRACTICE; Are proactive, commercially astute, and possess strong legal technical skills (research/drafting/advocacy); Have strong communication/interpersonal skills and Microsoft Office competency (Word, Excel, Outlook) with a typing speed of 50-60wpm+; Have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment (essential); Are versatile, hands-on, and self-sufficient (without the need for too much admin/secretarial support); Are seriously seeking a fulfilling in-house role where you can make your mark and carve out a successful future long-term with this impressive company.
