About the role We are seeking a talented Lawyer or Associate with 1– 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our Newcastle General Insurance team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of matters, including personal injury and public liability claims, for leading local and international insurers.
In this role, you will manage matters from initial instructions and advice through to settlement or hearing.
You'll be supported to hone your file management and drafting skills, attend court, negotiate settlements, and build your expertise in the practice area.
Working closely with a Partner in a supportive and collaborative team, you'll receive one-on-one mentoring and guidance, making this a hands-on role that will fast-track your professional growth and development.
About you To thrive in this role, you will have: 1–4 years PQE, with experience in insurance or litigation.
A strong interest in general insurance law and a desire to build your career in this area.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with sound judgment.
A commitment to delivering exceptional client service and working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
