Senior Accountant - Fantastic team culture and hybrid WFH My client is a boutique advisory firm offering specialist services in Tax, Accounting, and Consulting. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team focusing on SMEs and family groups. Their client base consists of various industries with turnovers ranging from $5 to $20 million.
In this role, you will work closely with the Directors and two managers, both of whom are heavily invested in your professional development. You will have access to ongoing training, an open-door policy, and a relaxed working environment with a young and vibrant dynamic.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established firm that also has ambitious plans for future growth. They operate in a paperless environment and use Xero as their practice software. In this role, you will be responsible for a portfolio of 50-60 SME clients across compliance, tax planning, and advisory work, supporting the manager in advisory projects for your client groups.
You will have key responsibilities which will include:
Preparing financial statements and reports for various entities Preparing tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts Tax planning and advisory projects for clients Liaising with the ATO, ASIC, and other regulatory bodies Liaising with clients regarding compliance and advisory matters Mentoring and reviewing the work of the junior team The ideal candidate will possess:
4+ years of Business Services experience Studying or having completed CA/CPA qualifications Experience with clients across a variety of entity types and industries Strong communication skills and a desire to work with SME clients #J-18808-Ljbffr
