ABOUT YOU Take the next step in your career Mexican cuisine experience not essential At least 2 years experience working in a busy restaurant Passion for producing high quality food Ability to work independently and as part of a team WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Preparing fresh Mexican Cuisine to order for table service and takeaway/delivery Maintaining food quality and presentation under pressure. Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen, complying with food safety, hygiene sanitation and occupational health and safety regulations. Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers. Help to create good communication between front of house and kitchen staff and within the kitchen Place orders for ingredients when required as well as accepting and checking all deliveries. Monitoring perishable stock to minimise wastage and prevent contamination. Promptly report maintenance issues and ensure they are corrected. Assist with the training of staff, including any apprentices and trainees. Acknowledging and facilitating changes to the menu, particularly noting allergies and dietary requirements and preparing meals to customers' specifications. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $86,927.82 per year
