We are looking for a talented Launch Site Operations Electrical Technician to be responsible for providing support for design, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of facility electrical systems, control systems and instrumentation, whilst overseeing further installation and maintenance activities with Gilmour Space personnel.
Document and communicate across teams to ensure duties are performed in an efficient and timely manner whilst adhering to Gilmour Space policies and procedures.

Electrical Wiring and Assembly.
Work in a team environment with other engineering and technical disciplines to provide your technical assistance in: Electrical power distribution systems (400V / 230V AC and 24V DC).
Switchgear and motor control centres.
Exterior and interior lighting.
Ground support control systems and instrumentation.
Uninterruptible Power Supply Units (UPS Equipment).
Standby Generators.
Automatic & Manual Transfer Switches.
Electrical Distribution Power Monitoring Meters and Software.
Data Distribution Network (Fibre & Copper Reticulation).
Lightning & Surge Protection, Earthing & Bonding Systems.
Fault finding and repair or replacement of defective equipment.
Provide support to facility management to troubleshoot and rectify faults occurring in existing electrical equipment, control equipment or instrumentation.
Ensure that all mechanical equipment is suitably interfaced with electrical supply systems, including compatibility with facility power capability and capacity Assist in coordinating electrical installations and maintenance activities with Gilmour Space personnel and contractors.
Other duties as requested by Facilities Management Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Trade qualified Licensed Electrician.
3+ years' experience in an electrical plant environment.
Evidence of exceptional ability.

Ability to read, interpret, adapt and update electrical and instrumentation schematics.
Experience in assembling and maintaining electrical switchboards.
Electrical maintenance and installation experience.
Ability to read and interpret technical equipment documentation and draft in house user operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals.
Experience with Low Voltage (400V / 230V AC) and Extra-Low Voltage (24V DC) Systems.
Experience with plant and instrument control panel design, assembly and fault finding.
Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
Knowledge of safety procedures and techniques.
High level of self-motivation, with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Power Point etc.)
Evidence of exceptional ability.
