Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) currently has an exciting opportunity for a Clerical Services Team Leader to join our Emergency Department Clerical Services team on an ongoing, full time basis. The role of the Emergency Department Clerical Services Team Leader is the management of the day-to-day administrative operations of the Emergency Department Clerical Services team ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient and customer focused service. The Emergency Department Clerical Team Leader role will be required to work on the floor in conjunction with administration days off the floor. Furthermore, assisting the Emergency Department Nurse Unit Manager or Assistant Nurse Unit Manager with any administrative or management duties within the department.
About you Ideal candidates for this role will have:
Demonstrated ability to prioritise and complete tasks in a timely manner. Intermediate knowledge of patient administrative systems, EMR systems and Microsoft Office systems. Postgraduate Certificate or current study in Health Services Management or equivalent experience or working towards the same is desirable. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, customer service and staff training and development. Experience in extracting VEMD, Medicare or similar data for audit and reporting purposes.
