We are looking for a dedicated Garden Maintenance Operative to join our company.
In this role, you will support the care and upkeep of various gardens and green spaces, ensuring they remain healthy, beautiful, and vibrant.
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about gardening, hardworking and will be comfortable working alone.
Key Responsibilities:
Garden Maintenance: Perform routine tasks including weeding, planting, hedge cutting, pruning, mowing, and mulching.Soft Landscaping : Assist in the preparation and implementation of new garden layouts, laying turf and clearing overgrown spaces.Plant Care: Assist in monitoring plant health, identifying signs of pests or diseases, and applying appropriate treatments as needed.Tool and Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely and responsibly.Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with clients and respond to their questions or requests professionally.Skills and Qualifications:
Interest in Gardening and Landscaping: Passion for plants, flowers, and outdoor spaces.Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.Attention to Detail: Careful and precise in handling plants and tools.Basic Knowledge of Plants and Gardening Practices: Knowledge of common plant types, soil care, and pest control.Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work well with a team and communicate effectively.Time Management: Able to maintain scheduled jobs and travel time to ensure prompt and efficient service.Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds keeping is a must haveAvailability: Monday-Friday and occasionally SaturdayPolice check NSWAustralian Driver's LicenseAbility to drive a manualBenefits:
