Your Rare Opportunity We are currently seeking a site foreman to join our landscape construction team. You will exhibit superior leadership, and people management skills, with a proven ability to encourage a culture that promotes excellence, professionalism, teamwork, and accountability.
The following experience and attributes are required for the position. The successful applicant will have experience managing landscape projects, reading architect drawings, scheduling orders and managing workers. Exhibit vast amounts of landscape knowledge across all areas of Landscape construction. An MR license would be a bonus. The values we would look for in our foreman would be reliable, energetic, proactive, problem solving, forward thinking and personable. The applicant must have a good working knowledge of site safety. Common sense and safety awareness is extremely important as you will be working on commercial sites with both the public and commercial contractors, which includes heavy machinery. This is a full-time position an excellent remuneration including a fully serviced company vehicle with a fuel card and toll pass. Tasks & responsibilities The successful applicant will be working on commercial sites constructing streetscapes, parks and planned community developments.
You will be working with a great team of tradies, and it will be your job to guide, organize and manage your team productively.
Ability to present yourself in a professional manner to our clients.
Must have an eye for detail.
All landscaping competencies including:
Understanding the scope of work; organizing and pre-planning of every aspect of the project to completion. Soil spreading, turfing, planting and mulching. Timber work, fencing, decking etc. Painting, concreting, tiling and walling. A company vehicle with fuel card and toll pass. We offer the opportunity to undertake additional training and courses leading to higher qualification to any enthusiastic person who expresses their desire to grow within the company. Superannuation. Above award rate of pay. PPE will be provided but you must have long pants and steel toe boots. Salary: $90,000- $110,000 per year plus super, wages are paid weekly.
