Job Responsibilities: Working experience with livestock & mixed farming systems and engaging with farmers.Be well informed about issues in the livestock industries including animal nutrition, livestock traceability, production considerations and proactively source and prepare information for communication to livestock producers.A desire to build on your technical knowledge in the areas of grazing management, animal nutrition and livestock production.Excellent communication skills to engage and collaborate with people in government, industry and the community and build partnerships.An ability to think strategically and understand risk as it applies to farming in our region.High level administrative and project management skills.Have a degree in agriculture, rural science or equivalent knowledge and experience.Ability and willingness to undertake a police check and medical clearance if required.Have a Current NSW Class C Driver Licence.Be willing to undertake regular travel within the Central West LLS region including overnight trips.You'll be self-motivated, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to build and maintain trust with the varied people you'll be working with to deliver on-ground programs and projects.
