Land Acquisition Territory Manager

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Land Acquisition Territory Manager to join Gallery Group.
This key role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing exclusive land access through strategic partnerships, ensuring a steady supply of land for the sales team.
Reporting to the National Business Development Manager (BDM), the Land Acquisition Manager will collaborate closely with the Acquisition Analyst to source and negotiate land estates for development.
Key Responsibilities: Land Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research and regional development trend analysis to identify new land acquisition opportunities.
Assess feasibility, zoning requirements, and growth potential of land estates in alignment with Gallery Group's acquisition strategy.Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with land developers, landowners, brokers, and other industry contacts to secure acquisition leads.
Attend industry events to enhance Gallery Group's visibility and expand networks.Exclusive Access Negotiation: Lead negotiations with land developers to secure exclusive access to targeted estates through Put & Call or Call Agreements, ensuring terms that support company growth objectives.
Work closely with legal and finance teams to structure contracts that meet company standards.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the Acquisition Analyst to maintain an organised pipeline of land opportunities.
Coordinate with the Developer Relationship Manager to ensure smooth transitions post-acquisition and facilitate efficient land release processes.Market Research & Strategic Planning: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and zoning changes that may impact acquisition strategies.
Provide insights into high-growth areas and support the development of long-term land acquisition strategies.Documentation & Reporting: Oversee the preparation and execution of acquisition agreements, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.
Regularly report on acquisition status, timelines, and land availability to the National BDM and sales team.Feasibility & Financial Modeling: Assist in the development of financial models and feasibility studies for potential land acquisitions, working with the finance team to ensure acquisitions meet ROI expectations.Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in real estate, Business, Urban Planning, or a Related Field.Proven experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or related fields.Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and real estate software.Advanced Negotiation and Contracting Skills.Strong Professional Network in Real Estate and Land Development.Ability to conduct market research, assess land feasibility, and align acquisitions with strategic objectives.Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Gallery Group's growth by securing key land assets.
